BREAKING DOWN THE GAMES


ONLY THE BEST COMPETE

Only the best rodeo athletes will compete during the Days of ’47 celebrations, testing their skills in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling and tie-down roping. Semi-final performances take place July 19-22 culminating with the Gold Medal Round on July 24. Winners will take home $50,000 in cash and prizes for gold, $25,000 for silver and $12,000 for bronze.

Trial Point Leaders

The Days of ’47 Trial Events are just one way for contestants to qualify for the Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo. Up to 5 PRCA cowboys in each event will qualify for the Cowboy Games from these standings, while the top 4 in the WPRA Barrel Race will earn a spot in the $1 million rodeo.
